Oliver Sweeney
Oliver sweeney was born in leicester, but left home while still in his mid-teens to seek a living in london.

He secured a job in a shoemakers in the westend and he workedhis way up from these unpromising beginnings learning every trick of the trade and the craft of creating qualityshoes for men. he also learned a good deal about the art of retailing. this groundinghas stood him in good stead ever since. Oliver launched his own label in 1990, initially in a link-up with Harrods, establishing his reputation asa a creator of `classic-with-a-twist`shoes for the footwear cognoscenti.

In the year 2000 Oliver opened his own store in the city of London and a storein the fashionable West End. In 2007 the flagship store in New Bond Street was opened.

Oliver Sweeney shoes combine the creative energy of great British design with the consummate flair of Italian manufacturing prowess. The designer says "Ww use the best factories in Italy, that means the best factories in the world". Casanova will be stockests in Jan 2008.
